DPC began over a decade ago but has really gained traction in the past 2-3 years. The model is responding to the needs of patients who find our current healthcare system broken, expensive and inefficient. Patients are finding and enrolling in DPC practices for the improved access, attention, and affordability. Without the burdensome interruptions and requirements of insurance, DPC offices have more time to spend with the patients and less overhead making DPC a cost-effective option for your healthcare needs.
